Windows NT: How to make sure the NUM LOCK key is always activated at when the computer is turned on:
Steps: (Registry editing should only be performed by advanced users)
1. Click Start Run Type regedit on the command line Open HKEY_CURRENT_USER
2. Open Control Panel Keyboard ln the opposite pane look for InitialKeyboard-Indicators, now double-click it.
3. Enter a value of 2 to make Windows NT activate the NUM LOCK key every time it starts up.
